Neben seiner Konzerttätigkeit widmet sich Paul Cibis auch dem Unterrichten. Vier Jahre lang hat als Lieder Coach am Trinity College of Music in London unterrichtet, und er war Gastdozent an der Academy for Performing Arts in Hongkong.

Seit 2002 ist er Assistent von Prof. Peter Feuchtwanger in London, den er auch bei Vorträgen und Workshops für die International Society for Study of Tension in Performance (ISSTIP) und der European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA) vertreten hat. Er gibt regelmäßig Meisterkurse und Workshops für Pianisten in Deutschland, China, Hongkong, Taiwan und Südkorea.

Im Rahmen seiner pädagogischen und wissenschaftlichen Arbeit beschäftigt sich Paul Cibis intensiv mit den physiologischen Aspekten des Klavierspiels und behandelt sehr erfolgreich Pianisten mit verschiedenen spielbedingten Problemen, wie zum Beispiel Sehnenscheidentzündung, Überbein, Fokale Dystonie etc.

Since 2002 he teaches and lectures as the assistant of Prof Peter Feuchtwanger in London, e.g. at master classes and workshops for the International Society for Study of Tension in Performance (ISSTIP) and the European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA). He regularly gives master classes for pianist in Germany, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.

Paul Cibis has gained much experience in dealing with the physiological aspects of piano playing and has been very successful in treating playing related problems and injuries such as tendonitis, focal dystonia etc.
